Atlantic Animal Hospital is proud to serve the Surrey BC area for everything pet related. We are a full service hospital and welcome both emergency treatment cases and pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care.

We strive to provide complete care for our patients, from the annual exam to orthopedic surgery, with digital x-rays and blood testing done here in the hospital.
Everyday care
Vaccinations
We recommend an annual exam and vaccination for your pet to prevent serious canine diseases like distemper, parvo, rabies and hepatitis. Regular vaccinations keep the human members of your family healthy as well.
Dentistry
Plaque buildup causes periodontal disease, so regular dental checkups and cleanings matter. Dental disease can lead to problems with your pet's heart, kidneys and liver.
Spay and neuter
Done here in the hospital, alongside our general and orthopedic surgery, by a licensed BC veterinarian treating all types of pets.

Orthopedic surgery
Including TPLO and bone plating. Dr. Punia developed a special interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery during his clinical rotation at Auburn University.
Digital x-rays
Radiography can evaluate almost any organ in the body, including the heart, lungs and abdominal organs, as well as the bones. Our pets cannot tell us what the problem is, so an x-ray often gives a clearer picture.
In-house blood testing
Our in-house blood test offers a basic group of tests, which provides information regarding many general health problems.

Run by Dr. Bhagwan Punia.
Dr. Punia opened Atlantic Animal Hospital in late 2004. He completed his Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry in 1992, then a 1 year clinical rotation at Auburn University, USA, where he developed a special interest in internal medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.

Cheapest to get your cat spayed/neutered in Surrey. They recommended different litter and when I said I can’t afford new litter as I just bought some earlier that day, they let me know of a cheap option to make my own litter! Very happy about that.
