Atlantic Animal Hospital is proud to serve the Surrey BC area for everything pet related. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Bhagwan Punia, a licensed, experienced Surrey veterinarian.

We strive to provide complete care for our patients, from the annual exam through to orthopedic surgery, with the imaging and lab work done here in the building.
Everyday care
Vaccinations
In order to ensure optimal immunity we recommend an annual exam and vaccination for your pet, to effectively prevent potentially serious canine diseases like distemper, parvo, rabies and hepatitis. Regular vaccinations protect your pet's health and keep the human members of your family healthy as well.
Dentistry
Four out of five dogs over the age of three have some sort of periodontal disease, caused by the buildup of plaque, so regular dental checkups and cleanings matter. Dental disease can lead to problems with the heart, kidneys and liver, so caring for your pet's teeth prevents other health problems too.
Spay and neuter
One of the routine surgeries we perform here, alongside lumpectomy and many more. Pre-anesthetic blood testing is strongly recommended so the anesthetic is matched to your pet's individual health.
Surgery and diagnostics
Orthopedic surgery
Fracture repair, TPLO, TTA, bone plating and the extra capsular technique. Ultrasound and endoscopy are available here too, done by an on-call specialist.
X-rays and blood work, in house
Radiography can evaluate almost any organ in the body, including the heart, lungs and abdominal organs, as well as the bones. Our pets cannot tell us what the problem is, so an x-ray often gives a clearer picture. Our in-house blood test adds a basic group of tests that point toward a diagnosis on the same visit.

Dr. Punia performed a pyometra surgery for my dog, and I am truly grateful for his care and professionalism. The surgery was done in a timely manner, which was critical in getting my dog out of a life-threatening situation. He was very responsible, attentive, and clearly experienced. They recommended different litter and when I said I can't afford new litter as I just bought some earlier that day, they let me know of a cheap option to make my own litter. Almost forgot my after care instructions but they kindly reminded me. Thank you for the awesome job.
